Hey Ya'll!
Today I am sharing something I just threw together last night! It is a very easy project, your kids could even do it! :) Here is what mine looked like after I was done :
What you'll need:
Canvas
Foil
Mod Podge
Foam Brush
Scissors
Okay lets get to business!
First, take your foil and draw very simple flower petals (the size is up to you, whatever you think will look the best on your size of canvas) Make sure you draw on the dull side of the foil, we want the shiny side to show on our canvas!
You will need a lot of these! To make cutting easier, I folded the foil about times then cut a petal out of it making many duplicates.
Once you have finished cutting your petals, cut out a circle from the foil. This will be the center of your abstract flower art. Make sure the size of you circle looks good with size of your petals.
Where you place your center is up to you. I placed mine closer to the lower left corner. This sets how the flower will look, so place your center wisley! Now, take your foil circle and glue it down on the canvas, Just rub the mod podge on the canvas then place the foil on it, dont paint the mod podge over the foil as it will make it not as shiny.
Now that you have glued the center down, start placing the petals around the center, gluing them down one by one. Remember, dont paint over the foil with mod podge just use it as glue on the canvas.
Once your done placing and gluing all of your foil petals, let it dry overnight!

Now you have a beautiful custom piece of art that hardly cost anything!!!
